Beyond the Woods - Chapter Fifteen
"You brought me here... " I said with so much joy in my voice. "I thought you would like it." He said. I stared out at my second favorite place in the world besides my woods, the ocean.

Chapter Fifteen
After fighting with Em for over an hour on what I should wear, she finally decided on a long light pink flowy dress. It was gorgeous and I doubted it would be too dressy since I am a princess now, I bet Christian would take me somewhere fancy.
I slipped on some shoes and was ready to go. Now I wasn't really sure how this worked since we were both staying here in my palace. So was he going to knock on my bedroom door to come and get me?
I doubted it and decided to take my chances and walk downstairs. As I approached the top I saw Christian at the bottom waiting for me. He saw me and grinned. I made my way down the staircase and reached out for his hand. He took it and glided me to him.
"You are amazing," He said.
I gave him a peck on the cheek then we walked outside where a car was waiting for us. Like a gentlemen, he opened the car door for me then walked over to get into the driver's side and began descending down the drive way.
"Where are you taking me Prince?" I teased.
"Well Princess," He teased back. "It's a surprise so I guess you will just have to wait and see," he replied back.
I wasn't too fond of surprises; I liked knowing what was going to happen. We drove for a good hour before Christian pulled over to an empty parking lot and behind, it was nothing but forest and a small pathway. He picked me up and began running, while I giggled at his enthusiasm.
"Close your eyes," he said while setting me down.
I rolled my eyes and listened. He guided me further and suddenly it became too hard to walk in heels.
"You can open them now," he said. I was amazed and so happy beyond belief.
"You brought me here...." I said with so much joy in my voice.
"I thought you would like it." He said. I stared out at my second favorite place in the world besides my woods, the ocean.
