Beyonce Gives Birth to Baby Girl, Creates Problems for Other New Parents

When Beyonce and Jay-Z's first baby was born on January 7, other families in the same hospital ran into problems because of the security surrounding the most famous child in Hip-Hop.
Beyonce gave birth to her daughter, Blue Ivy, at the Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. The hospital offers private suites and makes special accommodations for high-profile patients who choose to have extreme levels of privacy. Apparently, the security provided for Beyonce, Jay-Z and their families was such that it prevented other new parents from seeing their children.

At least one new Dad, Neil Coulon, was prevented from reaching the NICU, where his twin daughters were being cared for. "They just used the hospital like it was their own and nobody else mattered," said Coulon. "They locked us into the NICU and would say, 'You can't come out to the hallway for the next 20 minutes.'"

Obviously, that aspect of the story is going to be overshadowed by the fact that Beyonce and Jay-Z now have a daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. And that child is going to be chased by paparazzi in the same manner that the wild hoards pursue Suri Cruise and the Jolie-Pitt clan, among others. One can only wonder which entertainment magazine and television program will get the exclusive "first looks" into the inner sanctum of Blue Ivy Carter and her famous parents - and how much they'll pay for such an honor.

Given how seriously Beyonce and Jay-Z appear to be taking their privacy in relation to the birth of the child, it's safe to assume that it will probably be some time before pictures of the child hit newsstands. But stranger things have happened.
