Beware of False Clinical Studies When Buying Wrinkle Creams

Wrinkle creams make all sorts of claims, promises, and proclamations. If you look around the web, you are sure to run into wrinkle creams who cite "clinical studies." Be sure to do your homework when buying from companies online.
Did you notice that "clinical studies" cost hundreds of thousands of dollars? It's true. However, most companies reference these on their website in an attempt to gain sales and fight for the consumer dollar.

I've surfed into several websites that talk about how their product is the subject of clinical studies, only to do my background homework and find out the ingredient discussed in the product was the only thing that has clinical research behind it. Remember that just because an anti aging cream has an ingredient in it does not mean that it has the same strengths that are explained in clinical research for one measly ingredient.

These clinical studies are done in professional environments and take plenty of time to put together. They are stamped and certified for the whole world to see. To have a company just come in and stamp their name on those clinical studies because they use a certain ingredient is just asinine. These are things that governing agencies look out for, and are sure to clamp down on in the future.

Companies need to be careful when making such claims. Not only will it hurt the results of their products, but it really angers the companies that do go the extra mile and spend real money on clinicals.

Most companies know who they are, when they visit a website of a supplier of ingredients, download their PDF files, and do a find and replace and insert their company name in there. Some people just never learn from their ways of cutting corners. It's sad, but that is just the way things are sometimes.

Consumers, consider this your fair warning. Use Google to your advantage. Look up research reports and look into where the ingredients you are buying into are made. By being a well-educated consumer, you will be able to have fair expectations and avoid buying anti-wrinkle creams from companies with something in mind other than providing an honest product.
