Better to Learn

It's better to learn early than late,
And braze yourself for this fate,
That life is to be 'lone lead,
No matter how many have otherwise said.

Never wear your heart up your sleave,
And never should you the truth ever tell,
Never astray your thoughts do leave,
And never should you, on your past dwell.

Don't ever trust completely,
And give away your heart and soul,
For truth someday, you are bound to see,
But then, nothing can you control.

It's better to learn early than late...
That you have no partner, no friend nor mate,
That it's foolish for someone, if you wait;
Who'll want to stay in the crooked and the straight.

It's better to learn early than late,
After all, this is a general trait,
No one here is just and fair,
Who'll agree to an equal share,
Of joys and sorrows; laughs and frowns;
Of highs and lows and ups and downs.

You see? You either may a deity find,
Or else, its for sure the fiend,
Though very hoarse you do scream,
That of humans you always dream.

Of those who understand, and who feel,
And who their hearts do not seal,
Who have the liberty, for love to ask,
When gruesome is the task.

But, it's easy to learn early than late.
No matter your thoughts, however great,
They never will to reality come,
'Coz in this crowd of people in the world,
Those that you call humans are some!
