Betrayal and Forgiveness

Erica Sean Dasia and Henry have a love square going on: Sean and Henry loves Erica, Dasia loves Sean; Erica loves Sean but lusts after Henry. Where does Dasia's love come in at? But first they have to get past the sickness of Dasia's father before this comes to pass.
Chapter One: The Meeting

Erica was sitting on her swing set one day playing with her dolls when she saw a moving truck pull into the yard across the street. The truck was huge and had Hugh's Moving Service printed in white against the black background. Then she saw a minivan pull in behind the truck and park.

'I wonder who that is,' she’s thought to herself. 'I hope it’s a girl my age so we can play dolls together!' Erica was eleven years old and very lonely. She hardly ever played with the children her age since she knew they thought she was weird since she didn’t like boys yet. 'It’s not fault I would rather play sports than kiss boys,' she thought gloomily. 'Its just they are so yuck!' her mother always laughed when she told her this, but never said anything to discourage her. She wanted her little girl to stay the way she was forever it seemed. She ran across the street, hoping it was a little girl she could play with who wouldn't tell lies on her or say something rude because she won at something. Which is what her best friend, Dasia Watkins always seemed to do. She hated always had to go behind Dasia's back and clear any rumors up just because she didn’t have crappy parents like Dasia did.

But when she got over there she noticed that there wasn’t a little girl; just a boy who looked to be her age. 'Oh crap!' she thought bitterly. 'It would have to be a boy! Why is it always a boy that moves into this neighborhood? It’s so not fair!' Before she could turn away, the boy noticed her and raced over. She gasped when he nearly plowed into her and grinned.

"Hi! My name is Sean Jacobs. What's your name?" the boy said politely. Erica silently gave him the once over: he was tall like the boys in her class--5"1'--and he had clear blue eyes with sandy blonde hair that seemed darker when the sun hit it a certain way. Erica just stared stunned at the good will that seemed to radiate from him. 'Who is this guy?' she wondered, awed. 'I have never met anyone who seemed kind before!' But she said none of this, she just told him that her name was Erica and raced off before he could say anything to her.

Sean looked after her, grinning softly. 'Wow she's cute,' he thought wonderingly. Erica would never see herself as cute, needless to say, but Sean thought she was. He liked her golden brown eyes and skin tone, and how long her dark hair was. Of course he didn’t like that she was running away from him but there wasn’t anything he could do about it! He went back to his parents and looked around in the new house. They had an upstairs attic with five bedrooms and two private bathrooms throughout the house. Sean thought the house was great, but he didn’t really like how everything was just plain white. He was about to go and tell this to his parents but then he noticed that Erica was outside and attempted to get her attention. She completely ignored him, just kept playing basketball. He thought this was really rude and ignored her too, but he couldn’t get her out of his mind. 'If she doesn’t want to be my friend, that's cool,' he thought, oddly hurt. 'I can make friends with anyone here! I don’t need to be friends with some snobby girl who thinks she knows more than me!' And that was the beginning of these two kids who would become the greatest of friends and lovers.
