Best Wrinkle Creams Given Away Free?

Sometimes, companies will go to any length to get their products out on the street and into the masses. This article talks about how companies these days are giving away wrinkle creams for free in an effort to get customers to try their product.
The best anti-aging wrinkle creams are priced all across the board. Some of them are very expensive, well into the $300 range for a simple cream to rub on your face. Of course, at times, you get what you pay for. Other times, you are simply paying too much. But how can you tell who has the best value when buying a wrinkle cream? Well, these days, there are some crazy marketing promotions going on, and it's not an easy answer.

Some companies do what is called "forced continuity." This happens when Company A offers what they call a "free trial" of their wrinkle cream. Of course, most people know the catch behind this. They charge your for shipping, and then you get the cream. Of course, ten days later another cream comes, and then yet another one down the road. Then, the sub sequential credit card statement arrives with hefty fees for these unordered, at least in the customers mind, wrinkle cream products. Some consumers can point this out and know this up front, however others, typically the older crowd who these companies prey on, do not realize this. Before they know it they have racked up hundreds of dollars of expenses for anti-aging wrinkle creams. So much for a free trial!

One company is truly going the honest route. They are marketing what they call a "wrinkle system, diamond edition" and charging the first 1,000 customers shipping only. No future orders necessary, no nasty re-billing plan. Just a simple offer to get 1,000 people to try their product. Formulated with retinol, and backed by a flashy website with all sorts of accolades, this system could work. But what will the price be after the 1,000 are given away? That answer has not been released, and some speculators are saying that it will all depend on the success of the first 1,000 creams.

However you look at it, there is always going to be a creative angle to getting consumers to try wrinkle creams. Companies know that if they are smart, the customers will be back for more. This type of trial and error marketing is popular in the cosmetics business, as many people consider these products as unnecessary items, however if they see the "miracle" results they will certainly make room in their budgets for them.
