Best Wrinkle Creams are Made in USA

I've written a series of articles on my thoughts and feelings about American-made products in the health care industry. I feel the best wrinkle creams are made in the USA as well, due to many reasons I cite in this article.
Where is your wrinkle cream made? How can you find out? Did you contact the company and ask these questions? If you didn't, shame on you. You may have spent your hard-earned money on a product not formulated under optimal conditions and without any inspections by a powerful health board or even more strict FDA guidelines.

So how do you find out where your wrinkle cream is made? First thing you should do is look on the website. Then, call the company. If those two answers don't check out, or if they differ from the website to the telephone representative, you can raise your red flag as high as you can and move on to find a new one. I am not saying all wrinkle creams made outside of the USA are awful or don't work, I am simply stating that you run a health risk by buying a product made under relaxed health codes, and sometimes, no regulation. What does a company like China care if they export 1,000,000 wrinkle creams to places if China has no care as to their quality or sanitary qualities? They are out there fighting for the almighty dollar and just want to look out for that. They follow their own codes and guidelines, and get paid by people who have the products made. They know very little about what happens to the product and where it could potentially end up.

In the USA, (not to be confused with Canada, who was just exposed recently in the recall of the popular weight loss supplement hydroxycut) there exist many health codes and FDA inspections are frequent. If a facility does not pass inspections, it gets sanctioned and/or shut down. You can actually look up this information and track it if you take the time to do so. This is important as you really have no idea who you are buying from when you buy from a company who sources their products overseas.

To me, I am scared of the FDA. They seem to come down on every company who makes the slightest mistake. But, as a consumer, I like this because I know when I buy a product made in the USA there is very little room for error. I know I can buy with confidence and worst case scenario, I have a facility to fall back on should the product I purchase backfire. Many companies use shady marketing tactics and call themselves "ABC Company USA" to appear like a USA corporation, however they are merely someone who is posing as a USA company.

In the battle for the almighty dollar and market share, companies go to great lengths to increase margins. However, as an educated consumer, you can know what to look out for and make good decisions if you do your homework.
