Best Wildlife Season to Visit India

Spring Season:- Springs in India is regarded as harbinger of joy. With the onset of February, you can hear the knock of spring season at your door step. This wonderful season lasts till March. Spring season is a lovely time when the sun rays turns little warmer, shedding its winterly touch and days become longer. Every where you can witness the newness in your surrounding. During this time of the year, you can visit the Central part of India. This region of India is dotted with two of the most popular national parks namely Bandahvgarh National Park and Kanha National Park. Both this national park are located in the Madhya Pradesh state of India. They are famed to have the highest density of Tigers in India. It is an ideal wildlife zone in India to have a close encounter with the magnificent big cats of jungles. Along with Tiger, you can even view other wildlife like Leopard, Gaur, Sambar, Chausinghas, Barasingha, Nilgais, Sloth bears, Barking deer, Blackbuck, Porcupines, Mouse deer, Hyenas, Jackals, Gray langurs, Mongoose , Jungle cat etc.
Summer Season:- Summer season in India is the most unbearable season. Summers in India begins from March and last till the end of June. The worst affected regions of India during this season are the northern plains. Often, at this time of the year, temperature rises to 49.C. So, if you plan for a vacation in India,during this time, than go for the mountainous regions of Himalayas or Southern Indian. The temperature of this region remains totally different from the northern plains, throughout the summer season.
During summer season, you can experience the wilderness of two of the best National Parks of India such as Jim Corbett National Park and Periyar National Park. Jim Corbett National Park is positioned in the Uttaranchal whereas Periyar National Park is located in Kerala. Corbett is famous as the oldest wild reserve and first Tiger reserve under the Project Tiger Conservation. It has a great number of Tiger along with other mammals like Leopards, Jungle cats, Fishing cats, Leopard cats, Himalayan black bears, Martens, Spotted deers, Langurs etc. It is nice to go for wildlife safari during summers as the climate in this region remain pleasant at this time of the year.
You can even visit Periyar National Park located in Southern India. During the summer season, the climate in the South India remain moderate.
