Watching a good romantic comedy together is a great way to make up with your partner after a fight. The main reason the above statement stands true, because romantic comedies are filled with instances which can make anyone smile and create a loving atmosphere. Most romantic comedies focus on a love story with lots of humor in it. These films portray love as an exciting emotion which everyone experiences once in their lifetime.

If you love comedies, then watching some romantic comedy films is the perfect way of spending a weekend with someone special. As the movie progresses, the romance blossoms and the couple faces hilarious instances which show that love has always been difficult but sometimes it is just funny. Since there are thousands of romantic comedies out there, I have picked out the best (in no specific order) for you guys to watch and have fun.

When Harry Met SallyA great romantic comedy, this film stars, Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan. It depicts a story of a man and a woman from the time they meet in college to the middle age. The film has a marvelous story which focuses on one point, which is men and women becoming friends without sex being a problem. The scene where Ryan displays how easy it is for a woman to fake an orgasm is the most memorable scene in the entire movie. Gross Pointe BlankGross Pointe Blank is a perfect combination of action, romance and comedy. The story is about a Hitman (John Cusack) who returns to his home town to get a decent job that happens to coincide with his high school reunion. He also finds his former flame (Minnie Driver) still living there. The plot follows on Cusack's attempt to get back his former girlfriend and to also deal with an unstable employer and a mysterious person who's trying to kill him. The 40 Year Old VirginA must watch movie for guys and gals, this is Steve Carell's best work. The story is about a geek who's never been intimate with a woman and his friends discover this secret and push him to have sex. When Carell meets and falls in love with a single mom who wants a relationship not based on sex, the situation goes haywire. This film is filled with sarcasm, gross jokes and comedy scenes which is simply amusing. 10 Things I Hate About YouIt is a movie that every teenager should watch, a modern-day adaptation of Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew". The film stars Julia Stiles and the late Heath Ledger and slowly transforms into a love story which had audiences wanting for more. This movie can rightly be called the launchpad of Stiles and Ledger who went on to became great actors. Knocked UpAn unusual pair, Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen star in one of the most loved comedies of all time. Knocked Up is about finding true love when two drunk people spend the night with each other. It is really hard to believe how Katherine Heigl can find love in Seth Rogen, but that is the beauty of this film; it teaches us how the heart finds its perfect match. No Strings AttachedNatalie Portman is known to be critics favorite child and Ashton Kutcher is known as the unofficial king of Twitter. She is a serious actress and he is still juggling around his comic acts, but in this movie they were just great together. Amazing body chemistry and funny situations made No Strings Attached a blockbuster and was appreciated by the critics and audiences alike. Friends With BenefitsKunis and Timberlake are actually a good looking pair. They are young, talented and have amazing chemistry with each other. It is not just about the looks, they have proven their acting skills in The Black Swan and The Social Network. In Friends With Benefits, fans get to witness two of the hottest stars flirting and sparring with each other. BridesmaidsTwo bridesmaids clash with each other to decide on who plans the bride's wedding. Critics call it the female version of The Hangover and have given it excellent reviews. This movie is a great romantic comedy which features hilarious scenes and marvelous acting. It is produced by Judd Apatow, (The 40 Year Old Virgin, The Cable Guy, Knocked Up, Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall etc.); so expect to be in splits. Bad TeacherCameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake are no longer the IT couple but that hasn't stopped them from working together in Bad Teacher. The movie had gathered a lot of press and has fared well at the box office. Justin plays the nerdy school teacher and Cameron plays woman who would do anything to have her way.
