Best Natural Moisturizer
A natural moisturizer replenishes the moisture content in your skin without any side effects. Know which natural moisturizer can suit best for your skin.

For Dry Skin
Dry skin needs moisturizer more than any other skin type. Dry skin continuously loses its moisture content which makes it dry, flaky or scaly. People with extremely dry skin need to apply moisturizers very often to keep their skin moist. Extremely creamy moisturizers work well for dry skin. Natural moisturizer such as yogurt which is thick, creamy is ideal for such skin. Yogurt has been used for ages for making skin youthful and soft. Apply yogurt (non-flavored) directly on your face and rinse it off after 10 minutes. You may have to rinse it with warm water to get rid of the oily film. The end result is often soft, fresh and glowing skin. Shea butter which is rich in vitamin A and E is also an effective natural moisturizer for dry skin.
For Oily Skin
Many people falsely assume that since they have an oily skin, they do not need a moisturizer. However, this is far from truth. Oily skin loses as much essential moisture as dry skin, hence needs a moisturizer to replenish this lost moisture. Sorbitol which is found in grapes and berries is a great moisturizer for oily skin as it replenishes water without any sticky, greasy film on the skin. Jojoba oil is also a great moisturizer for face. It keeps your skin hydrated for several hours, due to its deeper penetration. Alternatively, you can also use olive oil as a nighttime moisturizer. Aloe vera based moisturizers are best moisturizers for oily skin as they hydrate skin without adding excess oil.
For Acne Prone Skin
People with acne problems are wary of applying moisturizers to their face for the fear of aggravating acne. However, some natural moisturizers have the property of moisturizing your skin and reducing acne at the same time. Honey is a great natural moisturizer for acne prone skin. Honey has antibacterial properties which kills bacteria present in the acne, thereby reducing their appearance. Simply apply a spoonful of honey on your face like a face mask and rinse it off after an hour or so. You can also use ripe fruits like banana, papaya and such as moisturizers. Simple mash these fruits and apply on your face. The nutrients in these fruits nourish your skin and makes it youthful. Since, they have toxic materials in them, the acne problem cannot get worse. Steam is also a great natural moisturizer for face, as it directly injects water in the skin. People with acne problems benefit from steam in number of ways.
Use natural moisturizers in combination with other natural skin care products. If you wish to go for commercial products then those with natural or organic origins are safe for your skin as they are closest to their natural counterparts.
