It is also beneficial to old people and those with disabilities.

Kapalbhati Pranayam
Pranayam is a breathing exercise, and Kapalbhati Pranayam is one of its various types. To perform this breathing exercise, one has to sit in a cross legged position. Thumb-tips of both hands should meet their index fingers. Hands should be rested on the knees with palms in the air ward position. Before starting the exercise, the stomach muscles should be relaxed. In the first step, air is to be forcefully exhaled and inhaled through the nose. In this process, abdomen muscles contract for a while and then relax as a result of passive inhalation. Here, the inhalation process is passive because, the forceful exhalation automatically draws back air into the lungs. The next exhalation is done immediately after inhalation. Ten cycles of inhalation and exhalation completes one round. The stamina should be gradually raised up to 15 minutes.
People suffering from epilepsy, heart diseases, stroke or high blood pressure should not practice Kapalbhati Pranayam. Those who suffer from ulcers or gastric issues should be careful while practicing this exercise.
Note: Pranayam should be practiced under the guidance of experts.
