Best Selling Books Ever
Well people, don't get offended by reading my list of good books to read. The books listed over here may not be your favorite, but most have been best-sellers. Some of the names mentioned over here are also my favorite.
Madame Bovary
Written by Gustave Flaubert, Madame Bovary is one of the most controversial books written in its time. It was attacked by public lawyers for the content of obscenity, when it was published in serial order in a French magazine called La Revue de Paris. The novel focuses on a doctor's wife Emma Bovary who has a string of affairs and lives her life defying society's rules and regulations. Though the story is very simple, the writer's greatness lies in the details and hidden patterns of the book.
War and Peace
Considered as Leo Tolstoy's masterpiece, War and Peace is one of the best books ever written. The book was first published from 1865 to 1869 in the famous Russian magazine, Russkii Vestnik. War and Peace tells the story of Russian society during the Napoleonic Era. Regarded as one of the world's best-selling novels, War and Peace is a book that everyone should read once.

Hamlet
It's no surprise that William Shakespeare appears on my list of highest selling books. I still don't consider Hamlet as his best work, but I am not ready to against the views of so many brilliant writers. Hamlet is a tragedy by William Shakespeare, written in 1599 and 1601. The play is set in Denmark, it shows the story of Prince Hamlet and how he takes revenge on his uncle for murdering Hamlet's father.

Middlemarch is considered as one of the best books ever written by George Elliot. Middlemarch was one of the most important novels published during the Victorian era and was first published in 1871 to 1872. The plot's set in 1830s in Middlemarch, a fictional town in England.
