Best Bass Players
Fan of the bass players? Read on to find out more about the best bass players:

Greatest Bass Players
Here are some of the greatest bass players. Now don't go doing all "So and so is the best bass player ever!" Cause we'll have none of that. Just some good old, unadulterated, no-judging, kind of list.
Steve Priest
Steve Priest. Now who could think that he'd defy the very idea of bassists being the quiet guys of the band, sitting in the corner and strumming their base strings? No siree. None of that for Steve. Touted to have built his first bass guitars himself and then there was no looking back. This bassist blew the lid off everyone with his profusion of sexual innuendos. Deep voiced and loud, this bassist is still roaring at his age! That has got to make him one of the greatest bass players, right? Hell yeah!
Ryan Martini
The bassist from 'Mudvayne'. The way he introduces complexity to his bass guitar is what makes him one of the best bass players. His songs 'Internal Primates Forever' and 'Dig' are played with such complex notes that one cannot help but be floored.
Paul McCartney (The Beatles)
His crisp bass lines are talked of even today. No matter that he was led more to fame 'coz of his songwriting. You cannot deny Paul McCartney's talent at intricate arrangements in all the Beatles pieces. Genius!
John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin)
Listen to the guy! Just listen. Forget all the other members of the Led Zeppelin and just listen to Jones. His talent was so potent that all the difficult arrangements that he played were made to seem simple. And the sheer talent of maintaining order while following Bonham, what with his drumming infused with anarchic arrangements and improvisations.
Jack Bruce (Cream)
He blends blues and jazz riffs like you and I would brush our teeth. No seriously. The main vocalist AND the bassist. Some people are pure unadulterated talent.
Geddy Lee (Rush)
His ability to create a wall of sound with the bass lend Rush it's grandiose style. Who would believe they were a three man band with their full orchestra-esque feel?!
Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath)
He introduced the 'wah wah' pedal and changed the way bass was played forever!
