One of the jobs that involves relatively lesser amounts of stress and frustration and is yet rewarding and exciting, it is that of a teacher. A teacher is instrumental in laying the foundation stone of a person's life. The first teacher, every person comes across, is his/her schoolteacher. Schoolteachers play a vital role in inculcating the moral and ethical values in children. They play a key role in developing the basic learning skills in children. The little ones, who consider their teachers as their role models, derive inspiration from their favorite teachers. As time passes, children grow up. They leave school teary-eyed, yet at the same time carrying a whole lot of dreams and aspirations about their life outside school. The role of teachers in their lives does not end here.

With memories of their schoolteachers in their minds, these adolescents enter college, a new and youthful world. Spending time with children equals a constructive expenditure of time and serves as an effective stress buster. With kids around, you are a part of their world of innocence and purity. It indeed creates a healthy work environment for you. On becoming a teacher, you get a chance to be with children laugh with them, think their way and enjoy their 'innocently silly' and 'healthily mischievous' behavior.

Apart from this the nature of your job is such that you do not work on weekends and you get your share of holidays. Becoming a teacher entitles you for receiving private scholarships and sponsorships for teaching programs. You also get the opportunity to be in a part of the constant process of learning.

On becoming a teacher, you need to face a huge audience. Be they kids or be they adolescents, you need to interact with a large number of students as a part of your job. To be a good teacher, you need to possess a thorough knowledge of your subject and present it effectively before your students. Teaching helps you develop interpersonal and social skills.

A teacher works with a new group of students every year. On becoming a teacher, you are sure to get rid of the elements of monotony and repetition in your job. You get to deal with variety everyday, as you deal with different students each year. You need to follow the school/college curriculum, but you can devise creative ways of teaching. You can invent different ways of teaching the different types of students. In the job of a teacher, there is always room for creativity and innovation.
