Being Lonely

Have ever been lonely?
Being Lonely
Loneliness is like a spider’s web
It grows and grows.
Loneliness is like a sunset
The sadness that takes over
At the end of the day.
Loneliness is like a gray sky
Where the clouds grow darker
And rain begins to pour.
Loneliness is like a sad song
That reminds you of happier times.
Loneliness is like a lake in winter
That soon turns to ice.
Loneliness is hard to shake
And then only loneliness remains.
