Being Elle (2)

I stared at my smoke on the ground and quickly put it out. The girls all hid in each cubicle and looking around I realized they had left no spare cubicle for. I questioned their choice of actions while I sat in the principals office clearly about to be expelled.
"I’m disappointed in you Ellenor" the principal said giving me that serious look.
"Its Elle" I assured him rolling my eyes. I didn't know where all this attitude was coming from but it just kept spilling out of my mouth.
"You do realize the seriousness of this situation, i am going to have to call your parents." he informed me.
"Yeah ok whatevs" I said crossing my arms trying not to make eye contact.
"Just go out to lunch I will call you back in here shortly" he sighed shooing me out.

"Oh em gee, did you snitch on us? Are we in trouble?" holly questioned eagerly.
"No no no, I didn't snitch I took all the blame" i said looking at the ground.
"Good" she said patting my shoulder then walking off back to all the other girls who were awaiting the news.
I stood in that exact spot for 10 minutes actually thinking is she serious, I take the blame for everything risking being expelled and all I get is a good. I looked up to see Alicia walking past staring at me disappointed.
"I’m sorry, I didn't want to" I said as I approached her.
"Whatever Elle, I told you not to go but you still went," she said walking off with betty the bitch who bitched about absolutely everyone who moved. So same thing gave me the feeling I was her next victim.

-Could Elenor Macintosh please report to the principals office- a voice over the loudspeaker announced.
I made my way towards the watching my feet kick the dirt on the ground when i crashed into someone. The re-bound was fierce like I ran into a brick wall but when i looked up, it was no brick wall, it was the amazing boy I saw on the bus.
I stood dumbly glancing at his unique figure.
"Sorry sorry are you ok" he said smiling with his hand on my shoulder.
"Ugh yeah ya yes yep" I shuddered staring at his hand and gulping loudly.
There was an awkward silence for a few second until he introduced himself.
"I’m Brent Hendy" he said smiling that amazing smile.
"I- I I’m Elle Macintosh" I said staring
"I’ll see you around then" he winked and walked off.

After the interview with the principal and my parents it was clear i was suspended for 5 days which wasn't so bad, no school for 5 days. Except i have that extreme guilty conscience that no one likes to have.
"Straight home after school Ellenor, is that clear" my mother ordered.
"Yes mum" I agreed walking out.

At the end of school I walked to the bus and got on looking for a vacant seat. I scanned the bus,
One next to a little kid with peanut butter smeared all over his face and hands.
One next to Betty bitch
One next to Alicia
And once next to ... Brent

I passed the first two options and came to Alicia’s seat but when I looked at her, her bag housed the once vacant seat and it was painfully un vacant. I sighed and looked up and saw Brent waving me over to his seat. I sat down.
"Heyy" he welcomed stretching his arm across the back of the seat.
"Hey" I replied smoothly as my heart skipped a beat.
"So suspended, boring hey? Unlucky for you, I got suspended today as well, what a coincidence." he said winking.
"Yeah" I quickly agreed
"Well this is my stop" I said going for a hug when he took my by surprise and slightly kissed my cheek, I could feel the redness take over my entire face.
I stood and my knees wobbled, looked around to say goodbye to holly but there was no sign of her.
As I got off the bus I could feel everyone’s eyes staring at me through the windows, the bus just wasn't leaving. As I heard footsteps get off the bus I was puzzled thinking no one else gets off here.
I turned around to see Brent walking fast pace towards me.
"You get off here" I questioned.
"Nuhh" he said mysteriously.
"Umm ok cool" I said sussly.
We continued walking until we came to the park just up the road from my house.
"This looks like fun " he said directing his shiny blue eyes towards the play ground.
"So let’s go" he said grabbing my hand and running towards the play ground and into the barrel.

As we sat in the childish barrel staring at each other I suddenly realized I had to go straight home.
"I have to go, I’m sorry" I said sadly.
"You don't have to do anything" he said taking hold of my hand.
"Bu-but my ma, the suspension" I said with puppy dog eyes.
He put his smooth finger over my lips.
"Shhh" he soothed as our faces came close together, our noses touched, and suddenly so did our lips.
It was so beautiful, I couldn't believe Brent Hendy was locking lips with me Elle Macintosh.
"Ewww cooties, mummmmmmmm come look at this, look who it is" a little boy said, who happened to my neighbor, who happened to be a family friend said.
We pulled away and quickly made an escape.
"Ohh nooo I’m going to be in so much trouble" I said sprinting up the road, our hands still connected.
"Wait Elle, I’m not going to school tomorrow, because of my suspension and all. And apparently you aren’t either.
We are meeting up. Don't deny it." he said running off as my mum appeared at the top of the road.
"Ellenor" she yelled walking furiously towards me.
My jaw dropped to the rawing sound in her voice.
"Shittt" I said gasping quietly.
