Before & Now

Before, when we were small
We went to camp together
You got in a fight, and threw a guy against a wall
When with you, I never had cloudy weather

Before, when you got with one of my friends
I was soooo happy for you
You and her, I couldn’t really apprehend
I became sad, but didn’t show you how I was blue

Now, we grew up a little
And we are together
When you held me, I felt as light as a feather
You always wore my favorite colors, skittle

And now, you broke my heart
It was so hard for me to move on
Like into my heart, you threw a dart
I felt an unusual phenomenon

Before, you treated me like a princess
All of a sudden you switched up
With you I never felt suppressed
Together, we had everybody impressed

But Now, I still love you very much
