Chiropractic Course

In order to get a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree, you need four years of study in a chiropractic school. This training involves lab work, classroom study and supervised clinical practice. Students will have to undergo training for 4,200 hours. Some schools run for nine months while some of them run the whole year. The first two years of the course emphasize on science subjects like anatomy, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, etc. while, the second half includes clinical work where the students actually diagnose the patients and also perform some spinal adjustments. The class study covers topics like manipulation and spinal adjustment, laboratory and physical diagnosis, orthopedic, neurology, etc. In training, the students are taught how to use medical technologies, how to diagnose and treat the patient.
