Becky's Poem

Woke up all alone in the middle of the night,
No one to assure you everything's alright,
You're all on your own now,
You think there's nowhere to go but down.

You had one bad day,
And let it ruin your week,
You never get your way,
No one listens when you speak.

But you've still got someone,
When you think everything good is done,
You've got a friend who cares from far away,
And I'll be here and I'll always say:

But you're gonna be ok,
Just get back up on your feet.

It's just a matter of time,
Before you finally realize,
That not all great poems rhyme,
You've just got to keep your eyes on the prize!

So, Becky. This is your poem, and it probably wasn't what you were expecting. I just couldn't bring myself to write anything so cheesy that it wouldn't mean anything. This poem is for the next time you have a bad day, and need some cheering up. I hope you liked it!
