Beautiful But Not for Long

It's not that I don't know...
The problem is that I know damn well..
Knowing what's right yet ignoring and looking straight ahead..
Knowing the truth yet believing the lies..
There's no ending... it's just a beautiful intro to something meaningless..
A bright light at the beginning of an endless dark tunnel..
A white rose at the gate of a hidden cemetery...
If I don't pull myself out soon,
I'll drown in a bottomless ocean to rejoin my long-lost soul I once left behind..
But how can I ignore what feels right though it's clearly wrong?
Why not believe the sugar-coated lies when they ain't bitter like the truth..??
Cause it's simply suicide to the heart I once had..
And it's chocking on the breath my lungs beg me for..
And after the beautiful intro, I'll be lost in the dark tunnel..
And buried in the loneliness of what if's and maybe's of my creation...
