Battling Waters (2) - The Meeting

What happens if you mix a Prince, a Pirate and his strong headed daughter, a rival, a quest for treasure and a long lost friend together? Love, hate, passion, battles, fights, and a lot of drama.
Lucy walks up and down in the Captain's Cabin. With each step she takes anger and pain fills her up more and more.
Each time we meet the Blackheart or start a fight with them I have to go to the Cabin. Well, this is the bloody last time!
Papa can forget to even mention the Cabin and if he wants to punish me, so be it. But I'm not going to go and hide!
She stomps towards the door but before she can open it her father opens the door and step inside.
"Where do you think you are going, Lucy?"
"Nowhere!"
Lucy stomps past her father. In her haste she accidentally bumps into a young man.
"Hello! Can't you see where you are walking?!"
"My apologies my lady."
With that he takes her hand and plants a light kiss on the top of her hand.
Lucy pulls her hand free. That was unexpected. When she finally registered that she was looking at him with an open mouth in shock, she quickly closes her mouth shut and quickly walk away from him with her head down.
She knows that she's blushing but he is so not going to see that!
She gives one look back at the young man, still dazed about what just happened. Then she lifts her hand up to her head, grab the rope and pull herself up. Her destination...the Main Topmast.
Who is that young man? Why did Papa bring him on board? Their ship seems ok. They can still sail to the nearest land and get the ship repaired.
While Lucy ponders about the unexpected visitor, Jason can't keep his mind of the young beautiful girl he just met.
She's just one of the crew members Jason. Don't even think of trying something.
But she is so beautiful. With her dark hair and her brown eyes. Her eyes...they seemed to have fire in them just like her spirit. How they burned into my soul while she looked at me as if she could see all my secrets. She is indeed different than any other women I've ever met.
Unfortunately her beauty doesn't come to their full glory on this pirate ship and with those ghastly clothes. She will look like a queen in any gown.
I think I need to have word with the Captain. May be he will be happy to get rid of the girl on his ship.
With that and a small smile Jason steps inside the Captain's Cabin for a drink with the Captain.

"Captain, your ship is indeed a masterpiece on its own. It's a Galliot right?"
(Galliot is a beautiful big ship, even though big it's fast.)
"That's right son. Take a seat."
Roberto hands Jason a glass with wine.
"Captain, if I may ask, there's a young lady on board."
Roberto's eyes immediately fill with love.
"Yes. Her name is Lucinda. Where did you meet her?"
"When she came rushing out of the Cabin she accidentally bumped into me."
Roberto sighs. He takes a seat across Jason.
"It seems she is still angry. I don't know anymore. I'm sometimes so afraid something is going to happen to her."
Jason frowns and looks at the Captain. Is that may be his 'lady friend'?
I sure don't hope so.
"Captain, if I may ask, is she your friend? I'm sorry let me rephrase that. Is she your 'lady friend'?"
Roberto looks at Jason with a shocked expression, and start to laugh.
"Oh no, my dear boy! There was only one lady for me and nobody else. Unfortunately she's not with us anymore."
"I'm sorry Captain. Please excuse my curiosity."
"Lucinda. She is my daughter."
Jason quickly looks into Roberto's eyes.
"You are kidding? She's just a little girl! It's impossible! The ages can't match up. She can't be older than 16 years."
"Young prince, Lucy is 20 years old. If she heard you know your tongue would be cut out before you would even know."
"My apologies Captain. She just looks so young and beautiful."
Roberto looks concern at Jason. Jason's eyes are filled with admiration and a hint of passion.
Oh no. Not again! It's already so difficult to keep Lucy out of Don's reach. I was foolish to think that if I accompanied the prince back to France nothing would happen. Now the worst thing ever is may be happening.
"You know she is my daughter."
"Yes Captain."
"Now let me make it VERY clear. She is all I've got left on this stinking earth. I would die for my Lucy. And if I ever see someone trying to hurt her, that will be their last day on this earth. My crew know about this rule. And if you are going to be my visitor, you should know it to.
KEEP YOUR HANDS OF MY DAUGHTER OR DEATH WILL BE YOUR CALLING. Understand?"
Jason looks straight into Roberto's eyes without a hint of fear.
"Yes sir."
"Now that we have got that out of the way, how about another glass of wine?"
Do you think I should continue writing this story?
