Draw the Ball Between the Legs
  • First dribble the ball using your right hand.
  • Just when the ball reaches your right hand, position your hand in such a way that, without touching the top of the ball, it should touch the side away from you and possibly more on the right hand side. Note: keep the ball in the palms and not closer to your arm.
  • Next step, slightly lift your right leg up and force the ball between your legs in such a way that, you can catch it with your left hand. Once you have the ball in your left hand, start dribbling with that hand and keep running to head it towards the basket.
  • The basic idea of this move is, be quick and confuse your opponent. To develop that speed and increase the degrees of your spin ups to 360, you need to practice this activity several times a day.
Behind the Back Move (No Bounce)

  • Gain a full control over the ball and with that, swing your arm around your body in a clockwise direction. In this step, you may tend to carry the ball in your hand. Make sure you avoid doing that, as such an activity would be considered as a violation act, in basketball.
  • The moment the ball comes near to your left hip, push it forward and bounce it in front of you in a natural manner. The ball should be off your fingertips. Keep running forward.
  • This activity needs thorough practice, probably dedicating daily hours on your own or from expert coaches.
Knee Dribble
Start dribbling with either your left or right hand, whichever is well-suited and then propel it under your bent knee. After few counts, catch the ball with the opposite hand. This is a very unusual activity, you can try this probably once you secure a comprehensive control over the ball.
