Once upon a time, a shepherd boy pastures cow on the mountain every day. There is a big crag seam on the way. On the beginning, because the cow is too small, the boy worries that the cow will fall down the crag seam and die. Therefore, he tackles the cow and walk through the bridge. Every day, he repeats this behavior twice: back and forth. Many days passed, he has formed a custom finally to tackle the cow. With the lapse of time, the calf has become the big cow gradually, but the shepherd boy has not changed his custom, still naturally hugs the cow to walk through the crag seam. With the cow becoming bigger and bigger, the boy’s strength also increases day by day. Finally, the boy has become a strongman who can hold up several hundred items easily.

What is basic training? and why?

Basic training means training the simple behaviors or beliefs or actions to the best or perfect, and at last making these simple items to be our potential talents. The story above shows the procedure of basic training of the boy. Basic training is just like making a firm base for building houses. Perhaps every day we can only improve ourselves a little, such as %1, but with time elapsing, we can get a big and surprising change.

In our everyday life, many useful and active actions are helpful to improve ourselves. Maybe the simple item is only a sentence, a belief or just a movement. There is a book named "results depend on details" (published by XinHua press in china) and many successful cases introduced in it are models of valuing at details or keeping on exercising simple details. Some of these cases are KFC, wal-mart, McDonald, GE.

What are the contents of the basic training?

Every items of basic training seems simple, yes it does. Exercises on these items need our time and big resolution. The key points we should learn before introducing such items are: 1) making basic training a important and urgency task for ourselves; 2) practicing, practicing and practicing, while not only reading the material and put aside and hope good things will come.

The items are:

1) Write down the things or ideas;

2) Draw out the things or ideas;

3) No impossible, looking for ways out for every problem;

4) No any excuses;

5) Active and optimistic. Let away bad moods;

6) Goal Visualization, making dream board to help you succeed;

7) Eliminate adjective, expressing in quantization;

8) Keep smiling, passionate;

9) Walk faster than before in 30% and speak faster;

10)Listen carefully and nod to your speaker;

How to carry on basic training? ——An overview.

To successfully carry on basic training, we should value at another simple action. First, let’s ask ourselves some questions: what place you will put self improvement in your life? Every day, we read, study, think and work to get a better ability in specialized field or IQ. Have you spent enough time to improve you EQ? Will you spent about 30 minutes on improving yourself? If your answer is ok, you have taken a big step towards success. Let’s go on and head for success.

For the 21 items listed above, we will introduce in detail the way to carry on them in the next parts. First we take an overview:

a) Spending time. Every day, we should spend about 30 minutes, of course, the more time you spend, the more improvement you will achieve, but remember that 30 minutes are necessary. You can spend 30 minutes at a time or you spend 10 minutes at a time and train yourself 3 times a day or at you will.

b) Reading the positive beliefs loudly. You are yourself. You should tell yourself what you should do or should have, not the downside things. As to the 21 items above, add "I will" on each of the item and read it out. 10 times for an item, we call item 1 to item 21 as a turn, please read 5 or more turns.

c) Imaging while reading. For some of the items, we will get better result if we are imaging the future while reading. For example, when we read item 8, we can image that we are smiling to everything, no matter it is happy or miserable. We are finding the good from that thing, with smile and passion. Item 16 is just the same. In our life, we might have come across many bad things, such as be cheated, be fooled, be jilted, sometimes perhaps just a dispute between man and wife. How did you deal with the things before? Have you thought you could have drawn something good from those bad things? Oh, we should first think of the belief: everything is great. Right?

d) Put into practice in life and work. Some of the items are practice based. Such as item 20, we can really learn new knowledge or arrange things using the mindmap tool. Many people or big company have used mindmap tool to make a decision, design a new plan, etc.
