Baseball Card Values for Free

Want to know where would you get free baseball card values? Well, this article to follow might just prove to be valuable!
Who is your favorite amongst the baseball stars? Is it Mickey Mantle or Babe Ruth or Hank Aaron? Never mind! Now let me ask you how crazy you are about the national game of USA, and if you are how is it manifested? I am sure at least for some of you passion and craziness for the game would be manifested in the form of owning baseball cards. But it does not stop at that, right? I mean for some collecting them is lot more than a hobby. For them these cards have values and they have to be traded with other fellow collectors, like stocks. To trade the cards, however one needs to know their values.

Where Can You Get Free Baseball Card Values

With the Internet becoming a fantastic source of information, you can get the values mostly on the Internet from websites dedicated to that purpose. There are also some specific sports magazines which provide that information. Take a look.

Well, I am sure you are going to love this. Although the name of the website is weird, Sports Lizard, it is pretty useful. You do not need to register or pay or anything to know as simple a thing as price value for your card. You would get to know the value absolutely free. You have the option to pay and become a premium member as well, in case you are hell-bent upon checking the value of the exact copy of your baseball card. So check this website online. Once you check the values, you can quote properly to fellow card collectors and get the same from them.

This magazine is one of those sports magazines. If your friends have it, then you need not buy it, otherwise you would have to buy it. So that does not make getting those card values exactly free, unless it is the former. Okay, now cutting off the useless banter, let me tell you what I am talking about. I am talking about Tuff Stuff magazine, a monthly sports magazine. Step in to any of the sports cards shops close by or a big bookstore. Voila! You are sure to get this magazine there. You can also subscribe to the online price guide. For that you need to have at least one copy to get a complete access to the full online price guide. You can see that for free.

It goes without saying that Beckett is one of the most used price guide for baseball cards. It is not exactly free, but you can get the values for minimum prices. You can pick the magazine at a sports card shop or bookstore. Beckett can be subscribed online as well which can give you an access to their monthly as well as 'Plus' guides. These have more number of cards than the ones given in regular monthly guides.

These were the big players. There are some more like Rookiestars, Card Trade magazine, Sports Collectors Digest and a few more for your reference. Guide is also available through subscribing to price guide services based on eBay sales and other major auction sites.

If you are skeptical about all these websites and magazines, well you can just walk over to your nearest sports card shop and directly ask for them there. That is I guess the best way to get free cards! Unless the person giving you the information asks for money in exchange of the information.

All these card values which are given does not mean that a person can sell his or her ones for that price. It is important to keep in mind that you will get the price which the buyer would be willing to give. It is also to ensure that while selling baseball cards, you do not get ridiculously low price!
