Baseball Cake Ideas
One of the oldest, yet very attractive idea is to make a cake shaped like a baseball. The cake is filled from within and decorated to give it the exact look of a baseball. If you find it difficult to make a cake, which is shaped like a baseball, you can make dome-shaped cake and give it, the look of half a baseball. Both these cakes will come in white color. Hence, you will have to make white colored and flavored icing. There can be red lines as there are on the baseball running across the ball.
Baseball ground is another wonderful option, which you may want to try. There are different colors, which you can use to make this cake. If there are a number of guests invited, then this is a better option, as the field can be made in square shape and the size can be as big as you want it to be. The color in between the field will be brown in color. Along the fence will be green color and between the fence and the ground, you can have white icing.
Baseball cap is another wonderful idea, which you may want to try. You can make a chocolate cake and place the vanilla cake cap on the chocolate cake. On the sides, you can decorate it with small baseballs. If you have a sufficient amount of time and patience, you can depict a baseball game in action on the cake. This was an idea, used by one of my friends to celebrate her husband's graduation.
