Hilton, 18, was reportedly charged with one count each of driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level above the 0.08 legal limit, unlawful use of a license and unlicensed driving. He faces all misdemeanors and was not hit with any felony charges. He is scheduled to be arraigned on April 14.

Hilton was arrested around 8 a.m. on February 12 on Pacific Coast Highway after being pulled over by police. The police reported that his blood-alcohol level was .14 percent. In the state of California, the legal limit for anyone 21 and older is .08 percent, for anyone under the age of 21 any blood-alcohol level is reportedly considered legally intoxicated. He was also reportedly carrying a fake license. He was booked at the Lost Hill’s police station and his Mercedes was impounded. Bail was reportedly set at $20,000. A source said that his parents and older siblings refused to pay the bail, so his friends coughed it up after Hilton spent nine hours behind bars.

It was reported that an unidentified female was originally behind the wheel and that she sideswiped a truck at a gas station and took off. By the time the police caught up with the car, Hilton was behind the wheel and subsequently arrested. Big sister Paris spent time in jail for probation violation stemming from a DUI arrest in September 2006. She famously spent 45-days behind bars this past summer. No word on whether or not Barron Hilton will face any jail time.
