Banished

To be banished here on Earth is not that difficult when compared to an eternal banishment. God wants us free from any banishment that’s why He sent Jesus down to Earth, so that we could freely enter Heaven. May we all chose the only way to Heaven: Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Banished
In the Bible, we can many times see somebody or something being banished from a kingdom or realm because they have upset the man in charge. If we took a close look at the world as we know it today I am sure that we can still find it going on, even if we don’t really hear about it.

"And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the Garden of Eden cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life." Genesis 3:22-24

This is the first banishment we find in the Bible. Here are Adam and Eve living in the most wonderful garden in the world, literally, and they get to live with the animals and they get to give all the animals names and they eat the fruits of the trees, and the best thing of all they get to have a great personal relationship with God.

The problem comes when God tells them to not touch something, He tells them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and it is so human for us to reach out and do something we are not supposed to, just because we were told no. Take a young child and give him a roomful of toys and then take one toy and tell him that he is not to play with that one, he might be content with the other toys for a while, but eventually he will want to get that one little toy that you had told him not to touch.

That is what happened to Adam and Eve, and it did them no good to have the snake there egging them on.

Therefore, God kicked them out and placed angels and a flaming sword at the entrance to the Garden of Eden, nobody was to ever return, because Adam and Eve had sticky fingers.

"When thou tillest the ground it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. And Cain said unto the Lord, my punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass that every one that findeth me shall slay me." Genesis 4:12-14

As we can see here, it has happened again, only this time it was the son of Adam and Eve, he did not steal something that did not belong to him, he killed his brother out of jealousy, and he was banished, God did not kill him but he did send Cain away.

There are other banishments that we find in the Bible ; Satan is banished from heaven because he tried to take the place of God, he wanted the glory that was God’s, so he got kicked out of heaven, that was when he went to earth and ruined things for Eve and for the rest of mankind. We can also find where John the Apostle was banished to the island of Patmos, it was there that he received the great revelation of the end times form God; speaking of revelation let’s read a verse from there:

"And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15

We find here that those who are not found in the Book of Life are sent to hell, to be written on the Book of life you have to accept Christ as your personal savior and confess your sins to Him, if you do not you will be banished to hell for not accepting God’s Son, everybody that is not found in the Book of Life will be banished, not out of the Garden, or to the life of a fugitive, but to eternal anguish and suffering in the place that was originally created for Satan.

May we all choose Christ and be happy with Him Forever!
