Crispy Baked Chicken Wings
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • ¾ cup egg substitute
Directions
Apply some melted butter to a baking dish and preheat the oven to 425º F. In a mixing bowl, add the flour, cornflakes and salt to mix it well. Then dip the chicken in egg substitute and roll it in the cornflake mixture. Keep the chicken in the baking dish and bake it in the oven for 20 minutes. Now turn the chicken over and bake it again for another 10 minutes till it turns crisp and juicy. Serve it hot with salsa sauce or any other dip.

Ingredients
  • ¼ tomato paste or ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 cup hot water
  • Hot sauce
Directions
In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and cook it on medium flame till the sauce or dip thicken enough. You can add parsley if you want a different taste and let the dip cook well for about 5 minutes. Once ready, serve it with the crispy chicken wings and some green onion toppings.

Oven-baked Chicken Wings
Ingredients
  • 12 chicken wings
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper
Directions
Preheat the oven to about 425º F and cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Drizzle it with some olive oil or melted butter. Wash the chicken wings and cut them into portions discarding the wing tips. In a mixing bowl, mix all the remaining ingredients and stand the mixture for 5 minutes. Add the wings to coat them with the mixture and place them carefully on the baking dish. Roast them for about 20 minutes in the oven and then turn the wings upside down to roast the other side till they are golden brown and juicy enough. Serve them with a sauce or a dip.

Spicy Baked Chicken Wings
Ingredients
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 3 chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Chinese five spice powder
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 16 chicken wings
  • 2 limes
  • Salt
Directions
In a sauce pan, mix the garlic, onion, five spice powder, fish sauce, soy sauce, chili sauce and salt in a bowl till it is a fine mixture. Add the chicken wings to the bowl till they are evenly coated with the mixture. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Drizzle the baking dish with some melted butter or olive oil and preheat the oven to 425º F. place the marinated chicken on the baking dish and bake it for 20 minutes on one side and then turn over to the other to get a slightly brown color. Serve it with lime and green onion toppings.
