Back To School

The vacations have almost ended,
School terms will start anew...
Parks and playgrounds will empty,
and children will be sad and blue.

Vacation time has flashed by so fast,
All the time of leisure and rest...
It is time to return to school,
And study and give your best.

But no one wants to go back,
To school with an armful of books...
We want to play and be merry,
And give studies and homework not a look.

But in today's world of competition,
And competition so very strong...
We have to be learned and wise,
And put not a single footstep wrong.

So though you may be sad and blue,
And long for holidays more...
To school you will have to go,
To see what for you is in store.

So get rid of the frown from your face,
And shed all the unhappiness from your heart...
You have to go to school and study,
To get ready to tear the competition apart!
