Bachelor Party Planning Tips - Be the Best of the Best Man

Important tips for the best man of the groom to be the best in leading the bachelor party planning.
It is the night of the groom to be. After going through all the details of wedding preparations with the woman of his life, making sure that all her dreams and fantasy come true, it is now time for him.

The time where he shall be at the gate of leaving behind the glorious world of bachelorhood. It is time for the bachelor party.

Since it is the main event for the groom, which is the only thing that is going to be all about him throughout the entire wedding process, bachelor party planning should be entirely about giving him the night he deserves. Everything should end up with a night full of great memories for him that will last forever.

It is most likely for the best man to lead the bachelor party planning. Although it is a great idea to plan something surprising for the groom, it will be a good idea for the best man to know what the groom wants for his last night of freedom.

Why? Well, although a session of erotic female entertainment (you know what I mean) seems to be a favorite trend for bachelor parties, you need to consider that it might not be something that interest the groom. Not all men enjoy looking at someone else dancing around half naked other than the woman of his life.

Maybe a night at the bar will be a good plan. There is sure going to be a lot of practical jokes and heavy laughing going on, which what is normally, follows when a crowd of good friends get together and liquor is involved. Don't forget to bring a camera or a video recorder, since there are sure lots of hilarious moments to be captured for the everlasting memories.

And it will be best if you have someone sober enough standing by to do the driving afterwards. You don’t want something great turns tragic in the end.

Or why not do all the heavy drinking inside, at one of the friend's place or a hotel room with an event of card playing. It will be a great opportunity for the guys to get together to play some poker. And since it is a special occasion, enjoy the game with one of life's dirty pleasures, smoking high quality expensive cigars. It is the final night of the groom bachelorhood, so make the best of it for him. Furthermore, there is not going to be any women around to complain and whine about the gambling or the smoking.

On the other hand, perhaps going for a paint ball game will be a great alternative if no drinking is involved. It is a great way to release the nervous energy that is surely all around him while having fun bonding with all the guys.

Wherever you plan to go, hire a transportation service, a limo perhaps. Everyone at the bachelor party must have an equal amount of fun. We don't want to have any problems with a designated driver issue.

Now, who should be invited? Who should pay for things? These are the things that most guys have problem figuring out. As all the closest friends obviously will not be left out of the guest list, the father of the bride and groom and any male relatives definitely should be included.

But if you are having doubt about who to invite, it is best to talk to the bride. She will be able to give good suggestions, maybe even provide addresses or phone numbers!

And while you're at it, try to find out from the bride about things that she may not appreciate her groom getting involved in. Be a good friend, the best of the best man and save your friend from any future problems.

Who pays for the night is a little bit trickier. It is not very often for you to be so lucky to have a father or a father-in-law of the groom who is willing to pay for the whole night.

So, the easiest way to go is; add up how much you assume the night will cost, together with tips for each event and divide it equally among the guys that are going. But leave the groom out of it. It is his night; he does not have to shell out anything obviously.

The main thing is, the bachelor party is all about bonding, letting loose and have a great time. Be the best of the best man you can be and give the groom everything he wants...as long it is legal.
