It is a great time to enjoy various snacks, desserts, baby shower cakes and drinks. Baby shower punch has become staple in baby shower celebration. It is a combination of base punch juices such as orange juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, etc. with different types of ice creams or sodas. You can also use slices of fresh or frozen fruits that offer an exotic taste. Certain spices such as allspice, cloves or cinnamon are also added to give a wonderful flavor. Luscious Lime Slush

Ingredients
2 Liters lemon-lime soda
3 Cups sugar
11 Cups water
¾ Cup limeade concentrate
Chilled lime slices

Preparation
In a freezer container, combine together sugar, limeade concentrate and water. Mix it well, until sugar is completely dissolved. Cover the container and keep in refrigerator. Before you serve, take out from the freezer. Shake it vigorously, until it becomes slushy. Then add soda, just before serving. Decorate with chilled lime slices.

Banana Slush

Ingredients
5 Bananas, mashed
5 Cups water
1 qt. Pineapple juice
5 Cups sugar
2½ Cups orange juice
2 Lemons, juiced
Soda

Preparation
Dissolve sugar in the water. Heat this solution, until sugar is completely dissolved. Let the sugar solution cool down completely. Then add mashed bananas, lemon juice, orange juice and pineapple juice to this solution. Stir to mix well and keep in the freezer. When it is to be served, remove from the freezer. Allow it to melt slightly. Place it into serving cups and add soda.

Apple Baby Shower Punch

Ingredients
1½ qt. Apple juice
2 pt. Orange juice
1-1/3 Cup pineapple juice
8 Whole cloves
2 Cinnamon sticks
28 oz. Chilled ginger ale

Preparation
Keep the apple juice in a saucepan. Tie together cloves and cinnamon in a cheesecloth and add to apple juice in the pan. Allow the juice to simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes. Then discard the spice bag. Mix the spiced apple juice with remaining chilled juices (pineapple juice, lemon juice and orange juice). While serving, keep a large block of ice in a large punch bowl. Add the juice mixture to it. Then add chilled ginger ale to it and serve.

Pretty Pink Punch

Ingredients
46-oz. Can of pineapple juice
1 qt. Strawberry ice cream, softened
2/3 Cup red cinnamon candies, divided
½ Cup water
¼ Cup sugar
1 lt. Bottle of ginger ale, chilled
12-oz. Can of frozen pink lemonade concentrate

Preparation
Sprinkle 1/3 cup cinnamon candies into 5-cup ring mold, which is sprayed with vegetable spray. Spread ice cream on the top. Cover it with a plastic wrap and freeze it. In a small saucepan, combine together sugar, remaining cinnamon candies and water. Bring it to boil. Reduce the heat and simmer with frequent stirring, until candies are completely dissolved. Keep it aside and allow it to cool completely. Pour cooled mixture into a large punch bowl and add pink lemonade and pineapple juice. Just before serving the punch, add ginger ale. Remove the ice cream from the mold and add in the punch to make a wonderful presentation.
