Food, no occasion is complete without it, here are some baby shower food ideas.

Cheese Puffs

Required Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of margarine
  • ½ a cup of sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons of green onions (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons of ripe olives (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons of cheese (parmesan)
  • 2 tablespoons of mushrooms (chopped)
Method
  • First mix the salt and flour and put margarine into it until the mixture begins to form a ball.
  • Now blend in sour cream and divide the dough into four parts. Then wrap each part and chill it for several hours after which heat the oven to 350°.
  • Once that is done, roll each section into a 12*6 inch rectangle on a floured board.
  • On each rectangle sprinkle either onion, mushrooms, olives or cheese and fold the dough to make a 6-inch square.
  • Cut the 6-inch square into 2-inch squares and do this until all the dough is prepared.
  • Place all the squares on ungreased cookie paper and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.
Fruit Salad with Chicken

Required Ingredients
  • 2 to 4 c. of chicken (cooked and cubed)
  • 2 T. of vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 T. of orange juice
  • 3 c. of rice (cooked)
  • ½ c. of grapes (red)
  • 1 ½ c. of celery (chopped)
  • 1 c. of almonds (toasted)
  • 1 c. of mandarin oranges (cut in half and drained)
  • 1 c. of pineapple tidbits (drained)
  • 1 ½ c. of mayonnaise
Method
  • Take the vinegar, chicken and salt and combine them together.
  • Now prepare the rest of the ingredients.
  • Once that is done gently toss all the ingredients together and serve on croissant rolls.
Orange and Ginger Punch

Required Ingredients
  • 2 cups of cold tea
  • 6 cups of ginger ale
  • 2 cups of orange juice
  • Lemons – 2
  • Oranges – 2
  • 2 cups of soda water
  • 8 cups of ice (cracked)
  • 1 cup of sugar
Method
  • First combine the tea and orange juice and slice the lemons and oranges too.
  • Add them to the mix along with sugar and stir until it dissolves.
  • Once that is done chill the mixture and add the soda water, ginger ale and ice before serving.
