I haven't given a good thought of what the story should be about exactly...but I love vampires so most likely most of my stories has some form of vampires or just unusual creatures.
"Please just kill me" she groaned, she lifted her gaze to the board filled with complicated math equations and radicals that she didn't bother to distinguish. Her friend Alisa sat behind her, lightly tapping her back with her pencil "Calista, wake up" she whispered silently as the teacher kept rambling on theories of blah blah blah geometry.
Turning her head around, giving a quick glance at the teacher who still kept blabbing "I wasn't sleeping Alisa, I don't get this...this is just so...boring" Alisa's eyes lit up "well if you were actually paying attention instead of doing whatever your doing right now maybe you'd understand" she gave a half-hearted smile.
"Alisa? Calista?" Mrs. James interrupted; "were you paying attention or talking because we have a no talking policy when I am teaching class" everyone in class quickly raised there heads and stared at them. "No...we weren't" they both mumbled, Mrs. James raised an eyebrow "ok, now class let's get back to math" as she said it everyone groaned; continuing with the math lesson.
Alisa listened earnestly while Calista's thoughts were drifting off about her strange dream she had last night There was a beautiful meadow of some sort, with beautiful, unrealistic black roses surrounding it. The night was dark and the moon shone brightly; a guy had appeared to Calista from behind a tree, his skin as pale as the moon, eyes as black than blue. "Beautiful" he said quietly, boring his eyes to hers as she felt breathless, she didn't realize she was holding her breath until he headed towards and said "you can breathe now" simply smiling.
He kneeled as she blinked a couple times, surprised; he lifted her hand and kissed it. Openmouthed, she didn't say anything...she wanted the words to just come but nothing as she clamped her mouth back shut. He stood up from his kneeling position and was nearly a foot taller than she was then he said; "my fair lady, I'm Christopher, and what may your name be?" "I'm Calista" she stuttered, "a beautiful name for a beautiful girl" she blushed, feeling joyous then all of a sudden she was pulled back to reality. The whole dream became a blur and she was swept back into the boring classroom "Calista, wake up, wake up" Alisa said smoothly, nudging her shoulder while everyone else including the teacher had left. "Alisa" she slowly opened her eyes, "what just...happened" "um...you fell asleep Calista" pulling her arm toward the door "lets go."
"...I swear the dream was so weird...a hot guy who was...so sweet" her voice said dreamily, looking back at those black and blue eyes that seemed to make her shiver with anxiety to see him again.
"Calista, I don't think any guy in this world would be like that...or even exist" she paused, thinking "maybe in the renaissance era where the guys were way more considerate." Calista made a huge sigh, trying to ignore the possibilities. "Ok, Calista lets go visit Aiden" pulling her to where Leticia's car was parked.
Aiden was one of our best friends. He didn't fit in with the rest of the popular people, I mean he definitely could; he had strong cheek bones, gorgeous green eyes, a good lean build but people called him a nerd, a weirdo. Aiden loved reading instead of sports, loved helping people more than dating girls. Which I suppose he was different than most guys, but I admired him for that.
He got into a car wreck last week; he was driving to charity to donate the money he had raised. It was during the night and suddenly a deer jumped out onto the middle of the road, Aiden couldn't help but swerve the car to another direction. Hitting a tree, the front of his car was wrecked but Aiden was safe, no harm done, except a broken leg and arm. The doctors even said it was remarkable he survived because most people in that situation wouldn't live to see another day. His mom had called and told Alisa and me; we were struck with fear and rushed to the hospital. Thank god he was fine...I mean he wasn't dead at least.
The room was white as most rooms were in the hospital; Aiden was under the covers in the bed, he looked uncomfortable, hair tousled in a way she'd never seen him in before, tangled. They knocked on the door softly, Aiden stirred a little bit then sat up rubbing his eyes "hey guys" he greeted, clearly hating the hospital from his expression. He was as pale as the room itself.
Leticia came beside him, "hey little brother, how're you doing?" her voice was a little hoarse, eyes strained with worry, cheeks flushed. "I'm alright" he said, not bothering to meet her gaze "Calista, Alisa how was school today" he said struggling off the bed. Leticia pushed him back on the bed as Calista rushed to his side "you know what the doctors said Aiden, so don't think about getting off the bed." "Oh come on, I've been in bed all day for days now" "You've lost plenty of blood, got broken limbs which means you need plenty of rest" Leticia said firmly, eyes glowering. "It's not like I can even sneak off the bed" he murmured, voice hypnotizing.
After leaving the hospital, Leticia dropped Calista and Alisa at the mall. "Thanks Leticia" the girls chimed as she drove away; "I'm feeling kind of hungry" Alisa said, "I'm feeling ravenous" she yawned.
