Aversion of This World - Chapter 6

They took me back to my room. I hated them for it. Said it was 'natural' to want to escape. Like anything about this place is natural.

I was lead back to my room with my four man escort, Josh and Jamie being half. The other two brunettes I found out were twins, Magnus and Thomas. They had faces of stone, which I preferred. Originally Josh was going to go tell Mr Anderson about me absconding, but after I knocked the twins out and legged it, he had to remain with me.

"Right I can't be bothered anymore. Shall we just get Ben?" A pissed off Jamie said. He was just miffed because I made a tornado mess up his hair as we were walking along the corridor.

"I think that would be wise, we're going to have to start training tonight and I think Ben would be best suited to starting it off." Josh said.

We continued along the hall, down two flights of stairs until I assumed we were underground. There was a door at the end of the corridor
and they told me to walk through.

I opened the oak door and found a dark candlelit room inside. There were no windows at all, the floor was made of stone, as were the walls. I couldn't see the corners due to the darkness, nor could I see the various instruments on and oak desk. Behind the desk was an empty chair.

Before I could do anything the door slammed behind me and I heard the sound of it locking.

"HEY! Urgh gits."

I realized this was probably some kind of punishment, that 'Ben' was code name for lock her in the dungeon all night. Leave her alone until she cracks.

There was a flutter of movement behind me, I whirled round to face it. Then I realized.

I wasn't alone.
