Autumn Blues
Doesn't it make you sad as each summer passes by?
Everything suddenly seems so dreary.
The cold wind is blowin’ round
And summer is nowhere to be found.
I’ve got the autumn blues.
The trees have changed from green
To colors of red, orange and yellow.
With my cap pulled down low
I can feel the wind blow.
I’ve got the autumn blues.
I feel do darn low
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry
Maybe lie down and die.
The only saving grace for me
Is an autumn day
Of blue, sunny sky
Colorful leaves floating by
What else can I say?
I’ve got the autumn blues.
