Autobots in Transformers 3
People who are eagerly awaiting the third installment of the Transformers movie series can now rejoice, as the film's release is just around the corner. For Transformers enthusiasts, here is a list of the sentient Autobots that will be appearing in the movie.
The third part of the Transformers movie series is scheduled for release on June 29, 2011, and like the previous two versions, this will also be directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg. The third installment has been titled Dark of the Moon, and the makers of the movie have promised to deliver a really "killer ending" to the trilogy. Several new Autobots and Decepticons can be expected to show up in this installment, and this is what has got everyone's pulse racing again.
Without giving too much away, the plot revolves around a spacecraft that contains some amazing technology that could help both the Autobots and the Decepticons in their battle with each other. This technology has found its way to the Moon where it has been discovered by human beings, and the movie is about a race between the Autobots, the Decepticons, the Americans and the Russians to get their hands on the ultimate prize. Shia LeBeouf continues as the unassuming Sam Witwicky, and he is joined by Josh Duhamel and John Turturro and Tyrese Gibson from the earlier movies. Megan Fox is no longer a part of the ensemble, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley plays the role of Sam's new love interest.

The Autobots are the main protagonists in the series and they are sentient robots from the Cybertron planet. The series is basically about their struggle for survival and their battle with the evil Decepticon race, and there are many new Autobots that will be seen in the new release.
