Author's Note from Jessica Park

I'm doing the sequel for My Cold Prince and this is what I'll write in it. Book two would be called, "My Shadow Reaper," I crossed out the, "Prince." When I type up the sequel, the title would be written as:

Cold Prince Book 2: My Shadow Reaper

Well... something happens at the ending of Cold Prince and I really don't wanna spoil it. But I hope that you guys will REALLY enjoy book two.

First of all, the reason why I picked, "My Cold Prince," as the title is because Kaname is looking for someone to be there for him. His parents were killed (in case you don't know his story, it's in chapter 17) and he wants to do revenge on Blue Phoenix for scattering his clan and killing his parents. Since he's a vampire who has to take special liquid medicine, he had Arisu with him to always help him take the disgusting medicine. Arisu is his cousin and Kaname and Arisu both thought of something to cover them up that they're actually cousins and vampires. Kaname's aunt and uncle (who's pretending to be Kaname's parents) helped Kaname do it.

Kaname could tell Jessica loved him but Kaname couldn't trust himself to lover her back. What if he loses another loved one? He's a Shadow Guardian and asked his captain to get rid of his emotions. And he let, Will like Jessica without caring. He started to push himself away from Jessica. He started to dislike her. Well, sometimes. She seemed to cheerful sometimes. Then all of a sudden she'll get too emotional. But when Kaname gave Jessica a tiny kiss at the resort, he felt nothing. Nothing. Kaname knew that Jessica isn't his.

Now here's a little spoiler:

Kaname didn't care whether Will and Jessica married or not. When Kaname met a group of recruits from his Clan, he swore that he would really do revenge on Blue Phoenix. That's when he met Yin. He started to fall for her. He felt... peaceful around her. He could be himself around her. Yin was a soulless mannequin but she felt herself getting closer to Kaname. As she and Kaname grow closer together, Jessica is starting to stay away from Will. She's starting to hate him. Instead, now she's starting to LIKE Hunter. She didn't know why though. Kaname goes on a dangerous mission to go destroy the Blue Phoenix headquarters. He's able to blow it up and returns to Yin, who is waiting for him with open arms. Kaname kisses Yin (for the first time) and Yin feels like she's starting to get a soul. Kaname knew then, Soulless Mannequins were beginning to evolve. But then, one day, Yin gets captured and sent somewhere, somewhere that even Kaname doesn't know. Kaname knew that this was Hunter's doing. So at the end, Kaname is vowing that he would find Yin, no matter what.

Book two would be the continuation but there would be some different things too. Book two would be based three years later.
