Attitude of Gratitude

For some people, a word of appreciation, for what they do, does make a huge difference and provides tons of happiness. This poem, 'Attitude of Gratitude', is for all those people with attitude, who unexpectedly got everything they want, from some special person in their life, and wish to portray gratitude and love in abundance for that special person...

Sometimes when I sit and gaze
All that I got in numerous ways
Worthy of none was I
But he always gave me hopes to sore high

Bestowed with patience abound
In all the troubles, not even a sound
Sacrificing everything he longed to have
Striving to make my future bright

Sleepless nights he spends, working all day long
Not concerned about his pains or rewards
I admire him and think of ways to give an award
And show him that I too am along

He's the one who Made my Life
Glory be to God, as I didn't have to strive
Else, what my life would be, I can't imagine
Struggling all my life for a penny or two

Wish to give him some rest now
To help him relax and say WOW
Hope my dreams, though few, comes true
God help me give him what he deserves to
