One of the great things about this is that while you are at a golf school you can begin to hone your craft by writing for in-house magazines or the local newspaper. You could set up a blog and write about Pro Tour matches and use these as an online portfolio to highlight your work. Once you have begun to build up your experience, you can begin to approach the larger national magazines. The competition’s tough, but if you’re passionate about your subject and you can provide examples of your writing, you have a good chance of success.
