Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz to Marry Saturday?

Originally it was rumored that the couple would get married on Friday, May 16, but now sources say that the rehearsal dinner will be held on Friday and will be "an intimate affair" for family and friends. Now it is being rumored that the actual wedding will take place on Saturday. The location is being kept under wraps as are all the other details surrounding the wedding. A source told Us magazine, "Proper invites have not been sent out but instead guests have been given a save the date notice." Simpson’s spokesperson reportedly said, "This is a private matter. There is nothing to confirm."

Simpson, 23, and Wentz, 28, announced their engagement in April. Shortly after that announcement rumors began swirling that Simpson was expecting the couple’s first child. A source revealed that Simpson is due in the fall, but Wentz immediately went on the defensive and denied the rumors. When Simpson was asked if she was expecting shortly after the rumors broke she avoided the question and said it was an "inappropriate" question.

Simpson and Wentz, the bassist for Fall Out Boy, have been dating since the fall of 2006. Initially they were both dating other people but said that they had an immediate attraction and a friendship quickly formed. When they were both available their relationship took a romantic turn. Both Simpson and Wentz are celebrating the release of their newest albums. Simpson’s album Bittersweet World, which features the song "Little Miss Obsessive," and Fall Out Boy’s album, Live in Phoenix, were released in late April.
