Art Evermore

A sonnet about life and art.
Life begins a single dot on canvas
Every paint stroke as permanent as ink
Lines mark the piece, each meaning to us
As if forming an emotional link
The artist may not part from the painting
For each brushstroke attains a deeper bond
Filaments like memories gush, fleeting
His paintbrush as magical as a wand
Tasteful lines portray life’s vitality
Till the moment its creator is no more
Your heart detained inevitably
Although, imagination is the core
Art if infinite; evermore latent
Life’s eternal imprint blooms evident
