Eris pov:

I just sat there as my parents, the Lawsons and Andy stared at me. What my parents just said had left me speechless which I might say is a miracle. I just couldn’t believe it, how could they do this to me, to their only daughter, what had I done to them?? But by the looks on their faces this was real and unbelievable.

My parents had just announced my arranged marriage, yes I said ARRANGED, to Andrew Lawson aka Andy whose sitting beside me, and also my best friend almost brother. I knew they were waiting for me to react, lets just say when I get mad I cuss alot, heck I even cuss in foreign languages. But I felt as if I had just lost my voice, in my mind I was screaming but somehow I couldn’t get all of the out.

Then my dad started talking about how they arranged the marriage. Turns out our family is part of a international organization called The Diamond Children, which basically protects family fortunes from people who would waste it by arranging marriages between the children of said families. Our family the Hails, own a serious of banks, research centers, and other companies just like the Lawsons. So when my family moved to Florida near the lawsons and discovered that both family were in TDC, they arranged the marriage. My mom was only 6 months pregnant and Andy was only 2 months when this happened.

But while they talked, I could only think of how this would affect my life and my friendship with Andy. I mean we practically grew up together. We were like brother and sister. Gross now I feel like I’m going to commit incest. Don’t get me wrong Andy is hot but I never thought of him that way.

So I just sat there waiting for the start of the end to begin................

Andy POV:

OMFG, I can’t believe this is happening. I mean u only hear about these kinda things in movies or books but in real life come on what are we in the 18th century still. I can’t get married, I mean I have my whole life to live and girls to flirt with. But the worst part is who I have to marry. Eris Selina Hail.

My best friend, my almost sister, the girl whose been there for me ever since we were in diapers. Also the person with the biggest temper problem. When she gets mad she get MAD. I looked over to her, she was just sitting there looking paler than usual. She looked liked she was thinking which isn’t always a good sign. Any moment now she would burst.

I looked at my parents and the Hails, my future in laws (hint the sarcasm) and by the terrified looks on their faces it looked like they were thinking the same thing I was. Oh well if she goes crazy on them it’s their problem not mine.

Eris POV::

When I was done thinking I came up with only one conclusion, problaby nothing I say will stop this engagement but I could still fight it but first I have to get all this anger out of me before I explode

--Stercum(shit) HOW COULD YOU GUYS DO THIS TO ME??? I MEAN WE LIVE IN THE FUCKING 21 CENTURY, WHO IN HELLS NAME DOES ARRANGED MARRAIGES, FOR GOODNESS SAKES, IM NOT GETTING MARRIED. Flocci non facio (I DONT GIVE A DAMN) WHO SAYS I HAVE TO. Stultus est sicut stultus facit (Stupid is as stupid does). Te odeo, interfice te cochleare (I hate you. Kill yourself with a spoon). Te futueo (screw you). – I said in a mix of anger and tears as I ran upstairs to my bedroom, leaving my parents, the Lawsons and Andy alone in the living room.........
