Are You Tired of Hearing Promises of Vast Riches from Affiliate Online Businesses?

If you’re relatively new to online marketing, you are probably looking to be an affiliate for an online business. Have you come across ads that read something like, do you want to learn how I made $26,000 in 24 hours? I just saw one in my e-mail today that said someone that followed their system, made $1,977,525 and they didn’t even know how to use a web browser. Perhaps you’ve already invested some money in a program and you didn’t make anything!

There’s some important points to be made about this. The first one is that, once you fall for something, you become very skeptical, and you think everything is a scam. While it may be true that some people are out to just blatantly rip you off, that is actually not usually the case. There are laws and people who break the law can and do get prosecuted much of the time.

What usually is happening, is that companies are luring people in, who they know don’t know a lot about internet marketing. One of the realities about internet marketing, is that, even if you are marketing a very in demand product, if you don’t know what you’re doing, you won’t make a dime. A sad reality for many people, is that they may be on the brink of making some money, but they get frustrated and quit. I call this leaving five minutes before the miracle. If you’ve never had success out here, you get to a point that you don’t believe you can do it. And with all the implications that this is an easy business, success never seems to happen fast enough.

So what is the solution. Well, I can tell you what is the anti-solution. This would be not taking the time to learn how to earn. You could then go on for month after month and not get anywhere. You would then be a perfect candidate for what I call the 97% club. This is the percentage of internet marketers who fail and quit. What is inside this statistic is that most of these people are those that never really got an education into how to do this. Would you open up a restaurant without doing any research? Just because you’re not putting up a lot of cash to begin with, why would you treat this business any differently? Isn’t success the goal?

So how do you avoid the dreaded 97% club. I can tell you one thing for certain. If you take the time to learn, the only way you will fail is if you quit.
