Are You The One? Chapter Two
Hey! I know I may be posting a little slowly but I've been a bit busy. I really hope you like my story, please comment and let me know what you like/don't like! Enjoy :)
Chapter 2: Will
I'd received a text from Kate that morning telling me that she wanted me to meet Emily when I'd finished work. I wasn't too nervous, from what I'd heard Emily was a really nice girl. But I knew how girls worked; if their best friend's didn't like you, you didn't have a chance. I was thinking of ways to impress Emily when I saw the girls walking over to me. My first though was 'wow'. Only I wasn't looking at Kate, I was looking at someone who could only be Emily. She was so beautiful, her long red hair falling in curls around her face. Her green eyes were so dark they were like emeralds and when she looked at me I had butterflies in my stomach. For the first time in my life, a girl had given me butterflies. I knew I was in for it this time.
Kate smiled at me, but I barely registered her. I knew it was wrong to behave like that but I just couldn't take my eyes off her best friend. I'd never seen anyone who looked like her, she was so unique. Kate introduced us and I held out my hand, desperately hoping Emily would take it. As I expected, her hands were soft and warm and I didn't want to let it go. She pulled away from me, making my heart drop. I didn't know why I was behaving so badly, especially with my girlfriend stood right next to us.
Emily mumbled something about needing to use the bathroom and I suddenly realized that what I was thinking was wrong. I shouldn't be acting this way, I really liked Kate. But for some reason I couldn't help but think that may be I was with the wrong friend. Could it be possible that after only a short while of knowing her I was falling in love with Emily?
