Are You Gymophobic?
Most people are afraid of conventional gym exercise according to figures!
According to the Fitness Industry Association(FIA) only 12% of the UK adult population use a gym! Despite the enormous publicity given to persuading us to exercise more, the fact remains that most of us don't like gyms. In other words most people are GYMOPHOBIC!
What is it that makes someone Gymophobic?
We asked 200 women what it is they dislike about using a conventional gym. 73% said that they found gyms intimidating. 69% said they dont want to excercise alongside men and a further 39% said that they found most gyms to be full of young, slim, shapely girls who made them feel old and fat!
88% complained at lack of attention & advice from gym instructors and 55% said that gyms were too time consuming. 61% said that gyms were expensive. 77% of women said that they did not feel fit enough to go to a gym and 49% said they were too old!
Gymophobics:
But things are very different at Gymophobics! Unlike conventional Gyms, Gymophobics is not intimidating. There are no men on the all-ladies circuits and Gymophobics attracts thousands of women of all ages, shapes and sizes.
