Are You Born Free?

People say all are born free... And it's only about realizing that they are free, and exercising their right. What does this mean?
Does being free mean being in total isolation? Or is it trying to be unperturbed even whilst being a social animal? Here is a rant that will perhaps help redefine freedom. The numerous entanglements thrust upon the 'Me' from time to time, the complex conundrum posed that almost always expects a conformist solution, and the flustered "Me" who keeps thinking about life's ways and the many contradicting philosophies maneuvering my ways all along.

As they say no man is an island; it's the 'nature of nature' to flock together, herd along, and habituate oneself to cohabitation. All this means bonding that's either trivial or perhaps more profound at times. A bond itself means you invite another person to intrude your personal space, and you invade his space too. In terms of chemistry, it would mean two elements sharing a common space together, which belongs to both of them, or rather neither of them. So does that mean you lose your freedom? Yes, at least a part of it. Of course that's a conscious decision made by man which is inevitable if at all what he has to do is to flock with similar feathers.

Some call it merging, for some it maybe submergence, others call it compromise, and some others term it as compatibility. So it's upon the 'I in me' to decide what to call that bond, it's the 'I in me' who gives that covalence a name!

True, freedom comes with a price tag!
