Are Poker Bots Easy to Use?

Some of the software would require the user to do some of the programming. If you have the computer skills to write a program this would be good. But the truth is allot of us don’t have the skills to write software that would be able to compete with today’s available programs. The Unversity of Alberta has a research team devoted to working on this type of software. So with all this being said, there are programs available that are easy to use. These programs are as simple as going to a web site and downloading the software. Not all of these programs are the same; some are free to download where some can be quite expensive.

There are basically two categories of bots, the player and house bot. Both have raised controversy. The player bot can be used as just an aid for training purposes which doesn’t cause to much controversy. Bots have moved past the stage of a learning tool, some of them have come to the point that they can play on their own. They learn from their mistakes, they can calculate the hand and what the odds the hand has of winning. Most online poker rooms forbid the use of these bots and can tell over a period of time if one is being used. Some sellers of poker bot software claim to have stealth programs that change the pattern of play, this way they claim to fool the house. The house has bot’s of there own. The online poker room’s that use bots need to be able to prove their bot’s don’t have an unfair advantage over human players, mainly having information on the card server. The ease of using these programs has made it so anybody that can run a computer program can effectively play and win at poker with little or no skill.

It seems that the days of the player against the computer are gone. These advanced poker bots are as easy to use as clicking on a poker site and opening the program. The bot takes over from there. Depending on the program, it can run day and night playing hand after hand learning as it goes. They mimic artificial intelligence. Some people have computers that dedicated for just this purpose. Some have the capability of teaming up with other bots, which in some cases considered cheating. Winholdem is that type of program. It basically lets any body else with this program collude with other players by seeing each others hand. Not only does this drop the ods for the house its cheating.

One of the more favored programs is the Texasholdem’ bot. This program is even favored by poker sites. You sign up for the site, use the bot and the site gets a commission for you to use the bot. This way the site knows the program and isn’t worried about cheating. This is ok if you trust the house not to cheat. This program is easy to use and you don’t have to configure anything. It has two modes of play, play mode and real money. In the play mode the play is loose, turn on the real money mode of play to turn it loose on the tables. Poker android is probably on of the most easy to use program to play holdem poker. It works in two parts which sounds complicated but its not. Poker android is an add on for Holdem’Inspector soft ware. The Holdem’ inspector automatically reads the cards in play and calculates the ods of winning.

The android program reads the recommendation from the inspector and puts it into play. There is no need for you to interact with play. The Holdem’ program comes with four different player profiles that can be customized to the way you want it to play. So I guess pretty much anybody can use a poker bot.
