You also get cake eyeliners in the market. You have to mix them with water for application. Always hold a tissue paper near the bottom lid, while applying cake eyeliner on the top lid. Applying Eyeliner

Eyeliner Application needs a little practice because applying it properly is very important, or it might spoil your look completely. It is mandatory to apply any other makeup, like the base and the eye shadow, before applying the eyeliner. You should avoid wearing anything in your hand, like a bracelet or a watch, while doing so, as it might come in the way or cause distraction. Make sure there is sufficient light for applying the eyeliner, so that it does not smudge or become crooked. Applying liquid eyeliner is comparatively more difficult than applying a pencil eyeliner. Make a thick line while applying eyeliner on small eyes, and a thin line when applying on big eyes.

Applying Eyeliner on Top Lid
This application gives your eyes a very expressive and bold look. Keep your eyes open while applying liquid eyeliner. Do not make a single continuous line. Instead make small lines on the lash line in the inner corner, in the middle, and the outer corner. You can then connect them gradually, making a proper shaped line, according to the lash line. You can even apply a thick line, or extend the line a little more outside the outer corner of your eye, depending upon the look you want. Pencil eyeliner is very easy to apply when it comes to applying on the top lid. Stretch your eye towards the outer corner and then make a continuous line towards it. Make sure you apply it properly on the lash line.

Applying Eyeliner to Bottom Lid
You can make a continuous line on the bottom lid using a liquid eyeliner. Many women prefer using a pencil eyeliner for the bottom lid. You can make small dots or dashes and then join them to make a continuous line. You can also smudge the eyeliner, making it look broader to give you a smoky look.

Eyeliner Colors

It is very important to choose the right color of the eyeliner to give you an utterly gorgeous look. The most important factor to be considered while choosing eyeliner color is your eye color and the color of the eye shadow. Black, brown and blue eyeliners look good on light-colored eyes, while shades of brown and plum complement dark-colored eyes.
