The Long Introduction of Apple

This is the intro only and it is UNFINISHED but good, I think. This intro is to show only her childhood.
There was a young girl about your age or maybe not. There was a young girl with a blackened heart and unsweet soul. There was a young girl who used to be so very close to you; who held you when your mother died, wiped your tears when you softly cried. There was a young girl the world swore they knew, but didn't. She grew up loved, careless and innocent like you.

She loved like you, cared like you. This is what happens to a young girl who lived a perfect life with her perfect parents. This is what happens to a young girl who found a bit of darkness inside the light of the world. She was left in the light on the corner of the darkness, where a boy dragged her in.

She was seven when he found her, lying face down, breathless, muttering to the pavement the phrase, "Apple of my eye," constantly, in a daze. She was out of breath and he was ready to save her. He flips her around and smiles at the pure image of her young and rare beauty. Gently he shakes her whispering humbly, "Apple" calling towards her as if it was her name. He moves in closer towards her, noticing the slow motion of her chest and how she just laid there as if Death has kissed her himself. He continued to call for her, repeating the simple word Apple as if he allowed himself to rename her. Her eyes slowly peered open, staring into his soul. All he could do was stare back inside of her apple-green eyes muttering Apple. It was as if the only vocabulary word he had on his list was one two-syllable word, Apple.

"Is that my name?" She softly asked gazing at the strange and dark boy as she slowly tried to pull herself up. He looked at her puzzled, grabbing her by the hand and helping her up.

"I... I don't know Miss. Is it, don't you know your own name girl?" She looked around the dark alley confused and helpless, drowning in fear as she shivered; you could read it inside her eyes.

"Where?" She stuttered humbly looking at her dark and cold surroundings. "Where am I, Stranger?" He looked down at the pavement struggling to answer.

"You're where the darkness hides." He muttered. She shivered once again but at his dark and creepy words.
