Apple iPhone 4g Unveiled

It was an eagerly anticipated announcement, and it did happen on Monday. Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, introduced the newest smartphone Apple has on offer, the Apple iPhone 4g. This masterpiece will go on sale on June 24, in just 5 countries at the start, including the United States. The Apple iPhone 4g comes in 2 colors, black and white, 9.3 mm thick, and the cost will be $199 for a 16GB piece and $299 for the 32GB model. It has a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash, a rear illuminated sensor, 5X digital zoom, and also has a built in front-facing camera to facilitate video chats, which Apple calls 'FaceTime', which for now can be operated only with other Apple iPhone 4g users, and also only over a wi-fi network. The new phone also has a better battery, which includes 7 hours of talktime and 10 hours of web browsing on a wi-fi network. It also features a gyroscope which would enhance motion input in games.

Steve Jobs went on to say, "This is our new baby. I hope you love it as much as we do. We think it's the biggest leap we've taken since the original iPhone. The iPhone 4 will be 'the thinnest smartphone on the planet' at 9.3 mm thick - 24 percent thinner than the iPhone 3Gs, the company's current model. It's been designed with a glass back and metal around the sides."

The WWDC was attended by over 5,000 people from 57 countries, in which the Apple iPhone 4g was introduced to the world.
